January 17: The Australian-born is known as “Australia’s own Bocelli” and The Phantom of Opera star.
It is amazing to know about all those people, who in ways, more than one, prove what they truly possess as great talents in their respective industries. Knowing more about them instils the hearts of others with more hope, positivity, and motivation, ultimately inspiring them to take over their dreams and fulfil their goals. The world of arts is a world of its own, which so far across the world has given birth to many such creative souls. We couldn’t help but notice the rise of one such incredible creative being named Paul Ettore Tabone, who believed in his artistic visions and thus was able to portray the same in opera as a lyric tenor opera singer and on stage as a musical theatre actor.
Paul Ettore Tabone’s creative journey began while he was only nine years of age, where he excelled at playing the piano and working around voice and music theory. He graduated from CQ University’s Conservatorium of Music, attaining a Bachelor’s of Music Theatre in 2009, and made his solo opera debut in Opera Queensland’s world premiere production of The Dirty Apple. One thing led to another, and Paul in 2011 got the opportunity to perform the role “Squelch” in Love Never Dies, Andrew Lloyd Webber’s sequel to the much acclaimed The Phantom of The Opera. It was the year after that he decided to move to Italy for studying as a lyric tenor and later even relocated to London to perform in The Phantom of the Opera at Her Majesty’s Theatre in the original production on West End in 2016; as “Ubaldo Piangi.”
Even during the ongoing global health crisis, he released his first studio album titled “This is Me,” taking people onto a journey with him, flexing his Australian and Italian heritage as well as his musical influences. Remembering one of his childhood memories, Paul said that he once with his nana went to watch Phantom at the Ingham Picture Theatre in 2006, and watching the same, he told to himself to be a part of the show. Last year in September, he brought Piangi to the Sydney Opera House in Cameron Mackintosh’s new original Phantom, for which he was too thrilled for getting to play the same role but in a unique, exciting setting.
He says that he is excited to tour regional Australia to promote his album, focusing mainly on regional Queensland. This year, he will be performing at the Sydney Opera House and Melbourne arts centre in the Sellout production of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “The Phantom of The Opera.”

With over 100 stores across India and having a powerful online presence, Decathlon India offers a gratifying shopping experience to all sports enthusiasts.
Sports and the earth are undeniably linked. Climate change is the biggest existential threat that looms over people’s enjoyment of sports outdoors. To benefit people and the planet and on a mission of making sports sustainably accessible to many, Decathlon feels the responsibility to reduce its footprint to protect the future of sports.
Quote by Decathlon:
“As sportsmen and women, we are aware of the impact and the footprint that we create and our responsibility. Preserving the environment is one of our commitments. It is a value shared by all our teams, especially those who design our products. By 2026, we want to eco-design 100% of our products and reduce by 53%.”
Decathlon is transforming how they make their products; today, more than 23% of their turnover is from eco-designed products. Eco-designed products include sustainable materials and processes: recycled polyester, recycled cotton, organic cotton and cold patch batch and dope dye technology. 60% of Decathlon products are Made in India, offering an additional opportunity to shrink their environmental footprint while engaging with local communities.

Relive the gruelling experience of immigrants with “Meet Mr Chang”
Mumbai (Maharashtra) [India], January 17: Revolving around the plights of immigrants in other nations, the film revolves around Mr Lean Chang who is the main protagonist of the film, “Meet Mr. Chang”. He is a middle-aged Chinese immigrant who has been living in India. The film focuses on his sufferings through racism in his home and workplace.
Mr Chang had to go through a lot to overcome the stereotypes and racism that he had to face while he was enduring the pandemic stuck in Bombay, India. Cut off from his family and loved ones, Chang was abused by nearly every Indian he came in touch with, all of whom met him with an absolutely horrified look. The coronavirus being of Chinese origin has propelled many Indians to show disdain to any Chinese citizen they encountered in their country. From discrimination at the market to missing out on his daily food supply, Mr Chang had to endure hell during the pandemic, and the film narrates his sufferings.
ChienHo Liao Alfred is playing Mr. Chang character in this film. He worked before as the main villain in the hit Hindi action film, Paltan. The prominent actor has also appeared in a number of advertisements and daily soap too for which he has received multiple accolades.
The film will span over the duration of around 40-45 mins. The film is targeted to be sent the International Film festival. Viewers can also catch the film on OTT platforms after it has been released. The film is scheduled to be released in February 2022.
For over a year now, the team and director, Mr. Ashwin Kaushal, has been working diligently on this project. This project holds huge significance to the director as Mr. Ashwin Kaushal is debuting as Director through this movie.
Racism and racial inequity continue to pervade our civilizations’ daily lives. To combat this worldwide scourge and promote racial justice, several specific processes and tools have been formed at the international, regional, and state levels.
Although the scopes of these processes and tools varied, they all have a distinct focus on racial concerns. Why is such a high level of specialisation required? How does the approach differ depending on the mission, forum, and emphasis of each organisation (for example, international vs individual-led approaches)? What are the benefits of these initiatives in terms of development? What milestones have been reached on the road to eradicating racism? These are some of the key answers that should seek the solution to end racism and racial profiling.
This film is aimed at the individuals who have never been subjected to racial profiling or who do not know someone who has, it may appear to be a minor nuisance. Racial profiling, on the other hand, is much more than a nuisance. It has real and immediate ramifications. Those who have been subjected to profiling suffer emotionally, psychologically, cognitively, and in some circumstances financially and physically.
Depicting the deeply rooted evil within our society and the hidden harm it is causing on individuals should be understood through this film, and the character of Mr Chang has been successful in capturing the stigma that has been gripping the country and polarising its citizens. Condemning such actions and acts is not only necessary but is critical if one wishes to maintain equality and fairness in human society, especially in emergency situations like the coronavirus pandemic.
Apart from Mr Chang, the team is also diligently working on creating Powwow with Eram, which is aimed at becoming a successful talk show hosted by Eram Faridi, which will welcome a number of well-known celebrities to its sets for some spicy gossip. Also, there is talks of a comedy web series that will be produced by Eram Entertainment. Furthermore, the team is working towards releasing the full feature film called Wrinkles.
January 17: Sony Entertainment Television’s Indian adaptation of the world’s no1 business reality show – Shark Tank, had Sahil Pruthi, Keto India founder, on the show recently. Sahil Pruthi is the CEO and brand representative of Keto India and Livofy, an organization that stands by the belief to make everyone achieve a healthy lifestyle. The prime aim of the organization is to create a personalized and integrative patient engagement platform for chronic care management that helps people manage their chronic issues like Type 2 Diabetes, PCOS, Thyroid, Cancer, Weight Gain through highly integrative care solutions. Know it from the man himself on how his experience of the show panned out and why he had to say no to the highest offer presented in Shark Tank India.
“Before the term “entrepreneur” existed in my vocabulary, I worked with Innovaccer, Traveltriangle, Samsung and Kronos Inc. as a product manager in the former two and a developer in the latter two. Then, I became an entrepreneur by chance and had always wished to be a part of Shark Tank. I would see hundreds of entrepreneurs from around the globe pitch their companies’ concepts to a panel of investors and persuade them to invest money in their idea and compete on the classic reality show. I got an opportunity to pitch my health brands Keto India and Livofy when Shark Tank arrived in our area of the world,” says Sahil.
“Being a Shark Tank India contestant feels like my organization, and I have finally gotten the validation of being a successful startup. By accepting the offer of 1.6 crores and collaboration with the Sharks, the charismatic leaders of the start-up business, would have earned me national prominence and increased our brand’s awareness among people. I also understand that it is the highest offer on Shark Tank India so far, with four of the five sharks offering us capital; however, my motive is to break the prejudice people carry of healthy diets and ensure everyone gets how important personalised nutrition is. For the same, I need to expand my business to an exponential level, for which this investment and company valuation would not have sufficed,” quoted Sahil.
“Joining my strong vision of making a huge difference in society, Sharks Namita Thapar of Emcure, Aman Gupta of boAT, Peyush Bansal of Lenskart, and Ashneer Grover of BharatPe offered to invest 1.6 crores in Keto India. What a moment that was! So many emotions came gushing down. I was nervous, proud, confused, excited, everything at the same time.
But, I didn’t take the offer because the equity asked was higher than what I had in mind to dilute, and the capital, I felt, would not have been enough to scale the company fast. The step was what’s best for my company and what it stands by. It was nothing negative, in fact, it truly reflects our beliefs to make nutrition easier and helpful.”
Sahil added, “I believe that the biggest learning from the entire process is that I may have done a lot of things well; there are still so many more things to do, so many things to achieve that even if there is a backlash of any kind, it’s natural and acceptable. I went to the show saying I needed mentorship and exposure more than anything else, and I achieved that. I want to thank the sharks again for putting the trust and belief in my entrepreneurial skills. This was definitely an experience of a lifetime!”
