Kabir Saheb Prakat (Appearance) Diwas

The incarnation of God Kabir on the lotus flower

The history of India is divided into three periods: primal, medieval, and modern times. A famous saint of the medieval bhakti era is Saint Kabir. Saint Kabir was indeed the perfect person who preached his philosophy about 600 years ago through his verses. Kabir Saheb’s disciple Hon’ble Dharamdas has compiled the precious hymns of Kabir Saheb which can be read in Kabir Sagar, Kabir Sakhi, etc. Moreover, all the divine plays (Leela) performed by Kabir Saheb are described in the Vedas.

Kabir Saheb was born in 1398 A.D. (Samvat 1455 Hindu year) on the full moon of the Hindu month Jyeshtha. There is a misconception that Kabir Saheb was the son of a widowed Brahmin (the top-most caste in India), which can be busted on the fact that no whereabouts of that widowed brahmin could be known yet. Moreover, Kabir Saheb himself and many other well-known saints in India, including Saint Garib Das of Chhudani gave proof in their hymns that Kabir Saheb himself descended on the earth without taking birth from a mother. According to the method mentioned in the Vedas, The Supreme Being Kabir Saheb, in the body of a single element of a light (Tejpunj), came from Satlok and descended on a lotus flower in Laharatar lake in Kashi, Varanasi, India. The direct witness was Sage Ashtanand.

The upbringing of Parmeshwar Kabir Saheb

Neeru i.e. Noor Ali and Neema i.e. Niyamat were chosen by Kabir Saheb as their worldly parents. Neeru and Neema were childless Brahmin couples named Gaurishankar and Saraswati. They were Devotees of Shiva. Other brahmins were jealous of Gaurishankar for his selfless conduct. Muslims took advantage of this. Muslim forcefully converted this couple to Muslim and they were named Noor Ali and Niyamat, who were called Neeru and Neema as short names. After the Muslims converted the couple, the couple started the work of weavers to earn their livelihood.

On the full moon of the Hindu month Jyeshtha, The Supreme Soul Kabir Saheb descended on the lotus flower at Brahma Muhurta. Neeru and Neema also found Kabir Saheb, who was in an infant form, when they arrived at Lahartara pond for a bath. They brought Him home.

Neema’s son did not eat/drink anything for 25 days, but He was looking healthy enough. Neema and Neeru were very much worried. God Kabir inspired Lord Shiv to overcome their anxiety. Lord Shiv came in the form of a sage. And when he took the child in his arms, Kabir Saheb ordered him to tell Neeru to bring a maiden cow. As soon as the maiden cow was patted, the cow started giving milk and the container placed below was filled with milk. The Supreme God drank that milk. This Leela of Purna Brahma Kabir Saheb is described in Vedas.

Since Neeru and Neema had become Muslim, as per tradition, the Qazis came to Neeru’s house to name the infant. As soon as the Qazi opened the holy book Quran for naming, all the letters in it became Kabir-Kabir. God Kabir himself asked the Qazis to name him Kabir. After some time, Qazi-Mulla came to Kabir Saheb to performing Sunnah. The Supreme Almighty showed multiple organs in the place of one male organ and asked what they will do now since there is mention of only one circumcision in their religion. Seeing this Leela, Qazi and Mulla fled in fear.

Lord Kabir’s departure to Satlok

Kabir Saheb, playing the role of a weaver, stayed in this mortal world for nearly 120 years and preached His SatGyan philosophy. It was popularly believed at the time that the one who dies in Kashi goes to heaven and the one who dies in Maghar goes to hell. Then, Kabir Saheb challenged all the pandits and astrologers of Kashi to walk together with Him and see where He will go after leaving this mortal world in Maghar. Kabir Saheb’s disciples were from both religions, Hindu and Muslim. Many of his disciples, including Hindu King Bir Singh Baghel (from Kashi) and Bijli Khan Pathan, followed him to Maghar. The people of both religions were determined to cremate Kabir Saheb’s body according to their own religion and had prepared for a civil war if they did not get possession of His corpse. God Kabir did know everything. After reaching Maghar, God Kabir expressed His desire to bathe in the flowing water. Bijli Khan said the river Aami flowing near Maghar was dried due to Lord Shiv’s curse. The Supreme Soul Kabir went to river Aami and made the Aami river flow again.

A bed sheet was spread on the earth with some flowers on it and Kabir Saheb laid down on the sheet and covered Him with another bed sheet. In 1518 A.D. (Hindu year Vikram Samvat 1575) in the Hindu month Magh Shukla Paksha, on Ekadashi, God Kabir Saheb departed from this mortal world. In no time, through ethervoice, The Supreme Almighty Kabir Saheb said that He is going to Satlok, a place higher than heaven. The Supreme God, through ethervoice, said that Hindus and Muslims should not fight with each other and divide half of whatever they get under the bedsheet. The Supreme God blessed Hindus and Muslims to live in love, which still prevails in Maghar. Even today, Hindu and Muslims live with love and brotherhood there. When the attendees removed the sheet, they found only fragrant flowers, Kabir Saheb had gone to Satlok with His body as He had come, in the body of a single element of light (Tejpunj). The two religious groups divided those fragrant flowers and made memorials. Even today, these memorials are present in Maghar. Some flowers were brought to Kashi to make another memorial at Kabir Chaura in Kashi, Varanasi, India.

How Nation Can Be Empowered By Addressing Issues of the Society

New Delhi [India], June 23: In today’s world, India has faced many calamities, one such is COVID19, and the pandemic has ravaged the nation. Addressing the issues and taking them through the proper channel is the key. Numerous problems in society are unheard of and need a voice or medium to be heard.

Here, a man with a mission, Jeevan Kumar Mittal is changing the perception about problem-solving. He has been doing this for more than a decade and addressing letters to the Honourable President of India.

He says “I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the water to create many ripples.”

In a pandemic-driven world, where everything seems bleak, there rises a hope from the setting horizon, a person who has vowed to relentlessly work for the upliftment of society. To bring awareness and spread light in the flickering hope and trust of the people of the nation.

Maternity Benefits to the Working Women

Maternity benefit is the key problem in today’s India. We have seen that this creates an impact in the families of many working and middle class.

Mr. Jeevan Kumar Mittal’s contribution to maternity benefits is immense. This eminent accomplishment is the implementation extension of maternity benefit for working ladies from 90 days to 6 months, after the suggestion made by him.

The need of the hour is to stand for righteousness and give words to the suppressed society, to enable them to fight for their cause. Looking around one may find people struggling to get justice and to voice their opinions. We need a society where social issues are discussed and solved without any oppression or fear of thought.

PENNING DOWN MORE THAN 5000 LETTERS TO THE PRESIDENT

With the thought of bringing about a change and abiding by the saying, “pen is mightier than the sword”, he has written over 5000 letters to the President in the past nine years. Each letter has addressed a different issue, focusing on the different areas of improvement, and eradicating the flaws from the very roots.

How social media is impacting the decision-making power of Indian citizens?

In today’s world where everything has gone online, social media has a responsibility towards the people of the nation. It has the power to make the unseen visible, the unsaid words heard, the invisible pain and suffering being felt. That is the power of the media.

Every citizen has a responsibility to create awareness around him. Social media platforms have the power to give this responsibility a voice. Their contribution could be a milestone in bringing about a change. Highlighting the social issues and bringing them to the limelight can help people voice their opinions and bring about a concerted change in society.

Regarding, Mr. Mittal is also the publisher of Four Square Monthly newspaper and has written numerous articles on our Constitution. It is his credibility towards the nation that has helped him to go out of his way to bring about consciousness. His articles have such an essence that they have been published in the renowned Navbharat Times as well.

A regular visitor to Parliament House close to Rashtrapati Bhawan for causes that he wants to highlight, Mr. Mittal thinks the distance is walkable, as distance and time are not a problem when the vision is big and goals are high. ‘Arth Sangini’ NGO taught financial management tips to women constables

Indore (Madhya Pradesh) [India], June 22: ‘Inflation eats up your hard-earned money. You should save your capital. It is always a profitable deal to invest in a place that gives higher returns than inflation. Shanu Mehta, the founder of ‘Arth Sangini’ NGO, told these tips to the newly appointed women constables in the webinar of Police Training College, Indore on Monday.

She said that instead of keeping money in a savings account, making a fixed deposit or recurring deposit will give higher returns. If at present inflation rate is 6 percent, then you have to invest your capital in such a place where you will get more than 6 percent return only then you will save.

On this occasion, Professor Himanshu Rai, Director, IIM, Indore said that one should always work in life with purpose and excellence. Shanu Mehta, Visiting Faculty at IIM, Indore said that the amount that can cover the expenses of 3 months should always be kept in the account as an emergency fund.

Mehta said that the sooner you start investing, the more profit you will get. Never think that now I am very young why I should invest now. If someone saves 3 to 5 thousand rupees every month, then with the power of compounding, he can easily become a millionaire in 20 to 25 years.

Mehta said that if you want to be financially independent then you have to take your own decisions. Along with investing, she also explained the entire process of budgeting. In this webinar  Aruna Mohan Rao,  Special DG Training, Anuradha Shankar,  ADG Training, and SP Agam Jain,  PTC also participated. Vieroots’ Yoga Day Highlights Personalization

Bengaluru (Karnataka) [India], June 22: The easiest way to commercialize anything is by making it generic. That is how assembly-line cars replaced customized horse-drawn carts. And that is how modern medicine works too – the same pill for all diabetics.

But that isn’t how the wellness wisdom of India worked. Ayurveda & Yoga used to be personalized solutions. Just like how all people have varying outward personalities, Indian medicine realized that each person is inwardly unique.

The concept of Prakirti and the classification of people as belonging to the varying combinations of three basic Prakirtis – Vata, Pitta, & Kapha, was the first attempt by ancient medicine, in personalization.

And they survive to this day simply because medicines prescribed based on these prakirtis work like a charm. But generic thoughts invaded these sectors too and Ayurveda & Yoga became commercialized and less effective.

Today, medical research shows that people are unique, based on their genetics & metabolism. Personalized medicine is called precision medicine in the West and has become the buzz.

Vieroots Wellness Solutions, a startup founded by renowned wellness evangelist & biohacker, Dr. Sajeev Nair, specializes in Personalized Lifestyle Management.

Vieroots’ core product EPLIMO analyzes each client’s genetics & metabolism to detect geno-metabolic chances for developing 200 lifestyle diseases and suggests personalized lifestyle modifications spanning diet, supplements, exercise, yoga & meditation, which can keep these diseases at bay.

Recently, Vieroots has taken their yoga-based interventions to a new orbit by tying up with the Himalayan School of Traditional Yoga (HSTY) which is one of the rare yoga schools that practise yoga as Sage Patanjali taught it.

On International Day of Yoga, these two institutions came together to offer the world a glimpse of Personalized Yoga & Meditation. The day started with Vieroots founder, Dr. Sajeev Nair’s virtual Yogathon.

A renowned public speaker and practitioner of yoga & meditation himself, Dr. Sajeev’s session was noted for highlighting the latest research on how Yoga benefits the human body at the cellular & mitochondrial level. Dr. Sajeev also led the audience through a guided meditation on Forgiveness & Gratitude, which proved once again why he is such a life-transforming speaker.

The next session was on ‘Therapeutic Yoga & Meditation for Lifestyle Diseases’ led by Ms. Usha Lakshminarayanan, Head of Studies, and Ms. Subashree Thottungal, both from HSTY. Based on Ms. Usha’s knowledgeable narration, Ms. Subashree displayed several sittings, standing & prone asanas, as well as pranayamas, all of immense therapeutic value.

In the final session, Vieroots presented a dazzling array of yoga theory & practice led by its medical & yoga professionals, Dr. Biju KS, Senior Medical Officer, Dr. Godmi Teresa Sunny, Ayurvedic Doctor & Yoga Practitioner, Ms. Ishara Patrao, Certified Lifestyle Coach & Yoga Instructor; and Vaija Nair, Certified Lifestyle Coach.
